These days, everybody needs a smartphone. smartphones are a part of life these days and with the higher demand for smartphones, Companies are launching phones every few months. and with so many models in the market, it can confuse average users about which one to buy and why?
So, today we are going to tell you about the 5 best upcoming phones in May 2022. Let's start the list without any further ado.
1. Motorola edge 30
Motorola announced a new entry in their edge lineup, which is their mid-range lineup. and the last model of this lineup was edge 20 and it was a great success. The new model comes with the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset recently made its global debut. The Motorola Edge 30 features a 6.5-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It carries a 4,020mAh battery with 33W fast charging support as well. It comes with 8GB of memory, and with the close to stock experience that comes with Motorola, it's gonna be a great experience for anyone who's looking for a good phone with a good camera and fast and snappy UI. This phone is capable of some casual gaming as well, this device is expected to launch in the end of this month.
2.Xiaomi Mi 12
Xiaomi has made a very big customer base with a variety of products ranging from extremely budget phones to a high end concept phones like Mi mix alpha. Xiaomi always comes up with great quality products, and continue that, this times xiomi has come with a phone having a 6.8-inch AMOLED display that supports Quad HD+ resolution at 1400x3200 pixels. The screen features a punch hole design and offers pixel density of 514 PPI. The Mi 12 comes powered by octa-core Snapdragon 888 chipset along with 8GB RAM and offers 128GB internal storage. Imaging duties on the Mi 12 are handled by a quad rear camera that includes 108MP primary sensor, 13MP ultra-wide sensor, 8MP telephoto sensor and 5MP sensor. On the front, the phone has a 32MP selfie camera that also supports video calls. Xiaomi Mi 12 gets backed up with a 5000mAh battery that supports fast wired charging via USB Type C port and wireless charging as well. Other features on the phone include on-screen fingerprint sensor, face unlock and USB Type C interface for music streaming. This device is rumored to get launched un the third quarter of 2022 i.e. July, august, September.
3. OnePlus Nord 2T 5G
We all know how big the success of OnePlus nord series was, and OnePlus continued Nord's legacy in the newer model that is the Nord 2 series and now, oneplus is ready to launch a new device in it's nord lineup, i.e. the OnePlus nord 2T 5G. The OnePlus Nord 2T will come with a 6.43-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone may come powered with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Earlier leaks have also hinted at a 6GB variant for the OnePlus Nord 2T. The smartphone may come with Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 out of the box. OnePlus Nord 2T may come with a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging and will have the trademark OnePlus alert slider and stereo speakers. This Device is expected to be launched sometime in this month.
4. Realme V25
The new realme V25 is a mid range smartphone that packs performance with premium looks and good camera which makes this a complete package for anyone who is looking for a decent phone as their daily driver. The Realme V25 Realme V25 5G comes equipped with a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and is based on the Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 skin on top. The smartphone has 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The RAM of the device can be expanded up to 19GB via the Dynamic RAM expansion feature.
Realme V25 flaunts a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary shooter, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth shooter. The device rocks a 16MP front camera for the sake of video calls and selfies. It draws power from a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
This device was launched in China last week at the price of CNY1,999 that roughly converts to 23 -24k INR, and it is expected to launch in India sometime in the month of May 2022.
5. The Nothing phone 1
The nothing phone, coming from the co founder of OnePlus carl pei, has so many expectations, and Nothing as a brand has the credibility to deliver on what it promised us. The only details we know about the Nothing phone 1 are that it is going to launch in summer 2022, it's going to be powered by a qualcomm chipset but not yet confirmed which one, and It's gonna run on a customised version of android called the nothing OS which is set in a retro theme with matrix fonts and classic looks, and is promising 3 years of software update with 4 years of security updates and seamless support for third party services like tesla and apple's airpods. The hopes are high and let's just wish that Nothing delivers what it promises.
