Moto G52 - Yet another daily driver

Motorola is one of the big contenders in the market when it comes to mid-range phones. There are quite a few phones by Motorola in the 10-15k bracket. The phones like the moto g31 or the newer moto g22 are both excellent value for money, and to continue this legacy Moto introduced one more phone in the bracket,The brand new Moto g52.
Today we will discuss everything about the new Moto g52, what it offers, and where it has a lower hand. So let's start without any further ado.

THE DISPLAY

The display of this device is one of the biggest selling points. It offers a 6.6-inch 90Hz P-OLED display with a 360Hz touch sampling rate. This means you can consume FHD+ content on this device easily. Even after being a low-budget phone the bezels of this device are almost comparable to flagships.

BUILD

The new Moto g52 comes with a glossy back panel that is a fingerprint magnet, but ignoring this it looks pretty premium. The Moto g52 has a Power button with an integrated fingerprint sensor along with the volume buttons on the right side and a hybrid sim-tray on the left side, At the bottom, it has a type-C charging port with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a speaker grill. Overall the look and feel of the new Moto g52 are decent considering its price bracket. This device has an IP52 water repellent certification which makes it a splash-proof device.

NETWORK

Okay here's some bad news, This device does not have any 5G bands, Devices in the same price range h has 5G bands to offer but not this one. But, The Moto g52 has carrier aggregation support which makes the 4G experience very fast in this device.

CAMERA

These days cameras are one of the biggest selling points when it comes to smartphones. Just a few years back the Numbers of megapixels that a smartphone had to offer has skyrocketed when compared to nowadays. And the Moto g52 doesn't hold back either, It has a 50 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 16 MP camera in the front to offer. You can record 1080p 30fps video with both the back camera and the front one. Talking about the Quality, The camera sometimes fails to produce good photos in low light, and sometimes it misjudged the exposure and the photos are oversaturated. But this can be fixed via OTA software updates.

MEMORY

The new Moto g52 comes with the mid-range Snapdragon 680 which is a pretty decent processor accompanied by 4 or 6 GBs of LPDDR4 RAM with 128GB storage. This is not a gaming phone, but even so, it can handle games like BGMI/PUBG or COD mobile pretty easily with smooth graphics with no heating issues at all.

BATTERY AND CHARGING

The Moto g52 has a massive 5000mAh battery with a 30-watt fast charging. The battery can easily hold up all day long on average usage. 

SOFTWARE AND UI

Motorola is one of those few brands that provide a PIXEL-ish experience to the user with their mix of Stock android with the layer of features that moto calls MY-UX. The Moto g52 offers the same. Android 12 with the MY-UX and very less bloatware. And the extra software that comes pre-installed can easily be deleted. Overall the software experience of the Moto g52 is pretty premium.
